Description

The Tomb of Peter Burrowes, who died in 1841, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It was created by the sculptor Timothy Butler. The tomb features a pedestal made of Carrara marble, which includes a relief medallion and supports a draped urn, all set on a tall base. Peter Burrowes was known as an Irish patriot and lawyer, recognized for his efforts in advocating for the rights of Irish Catholics.
