Description
The Old Barrack Block at Kensington Palace is a former barracks that has been converted into houses. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century and is built of red brick with a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features a symmetrical façade with a pattern of 2-4-1-4-2. The ends of the structure project slightly, and there is a band between the storeys. The ground floor has wood leaded windows with mullions and transoms, while the first floor has mullioned windows. In the center, there is a round-headed arch with a loft door above it. The building is topped with a hipped old tile roof and has a wooden eaves cornice.
