Description

The garden temple located to the south of Kensington Palace dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is a one-storey open structure featuring a front with two plain outer piers and two Tuscan columns in antis, topped with an entablature. Above, there is a solid attic divided by pilasters, with panels that are carved with cherubs and foliage. The interior includes an apsidal end and round-headed niches on both the left and right sides.
