Stuccoed terrace of houses. Mid to later C19. Five storeys and basement. Three windows wide each, to upper floors. Coupled Corinthian porches. Canted bay window to ground, first and second floors, of each house. First floor balustraded balconys. Pediments to first floor centre windows. Cornice above third floor and main cornice with rich frieze, above top floor. Cast iron area railings. Includes No 40 Queens Gate Gardens, to right hand return, similar but 5 storeys, 4 windows wide, canted bay to ground floor only. Part of group with Nos 54-66 and Nos 59-79 odd Cromwell Road.
