Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of dwelling houses, located on Christchurch Street. The terrace comprises numbers 30 to 52 (even). It is three storeys high and one window wide. The ground floor is stuccoed, with channelled detailing in many cases, while the upper floors are primarily stock brick. A crowning cornice and blocking course top the building, and chimneys break the skyline. Some upper-floor windows have architraves, and some front doors are sheltered by bracketed hoods. The terrace forms part of a group with numbers 26-28 and 60-76, although numbers 54-58 have been rebuilt.
