Description
No. 16 Kensington Square is a house built around 1876 in the Flemish style. It has four storeys, a basement, and a dormer gable, featuring three windows. The exterior is made of painted brick with red brick dressings. The shaped gable displays the year 1876 in a lunette cartouche. The windows on the second floor are recessed sash windows with gauged flat brick arches, brick architraves, and a pedimented central window. The round-arched doorway is flanked by pilasters that support a shaped over-door. A continuous wrought iron balcony is located at the first-floor level, and there are wrought iron railings with brick piers topped with stone ball finials.
