Description
Numbers 3 to 15 form a row of terraced houses built in 1852 in Islington. The houses are constructed of yellow brick laid in a Flemish bond, with rendered stucco sections. The roof is hidden behind a parapet. The buildings are three storeys high, with a basement level, and each house originally had two windows, although numbers 7 to 11 project slightly. The basement and ground floors are stuccoed, with the ground floor decorated with banded rustication. Steps lead to flat-arched entrances, each with a simple door surround, overlight, and a panelled door. Number 15, which also has a side entrance on Linton Street, features railings to the steps and a corniced door surround, though the door is plain without arcading. All the windows are flat-arched; those on the first floor have a moulded stucco architrave and cornice resting on consoles, and the second-floor windows have a moulded stucco architrave. A cornice and blocking course run along the top of the front elevation. Cast iron railings are present to the area.
