Description
Approximately 20 metres of railings located west of the junction with Astey's Row were constructed around 1825 for the New River Company. These railings are made of cast and wrought iron and feature straight shafts topped with urn finials. Every eleventh shaft is coupled with one set back. The railings are mounted on a stock brick wall that has stone coping. They are linked to the realignment of the New River and the rebuilding of Canonbury Road Bridge in 1823.
