Description
The gates and railings to St Leonard's Almshouses, built around 1904, feature a low stone plinth with plain wrought iron railings and urn finials at intervals. Square brick piers with stone cornices and ball finials are located at the outer corners and in the center, framing one double and two single wrought iron gates. The double gate hangs from square wrought iron piers with an overthrow. These gates and railings, along with St Leonard's House, the Porters and Walters almshouse, and the commemorative stone, form a cohesive group.
