Description
This fragment of a canal bridge, likely from the 18th century, is located in a children's playground on Truro Road in Wood Green. It is constructed from coursed squared granite rubble and features wrought iron reinforcing straps in an arched shape that are bolted into the stone. The structure appears to be part of a bridge or tunnel over the New River.
