Description

No. 7 Hammersmith Terrace is a terraced house dating from approximately 1760 to 1770. It is constructed of brown brick with a stucco finish to the ground floor. The house is four storeys high and two windows wide. A Doric porch provides the main entrance. The principal elevation faces south. The interior retains William Morris decoration, including furniture and wallpaper. Sir Emery Walker, a typographer and antiquary, lived at the property from 1903 to 1933, as commemorated by a London County Council plaque.
