Description

No. 17 St Dunstan's Road is a studio cottage built between 1891 and 1892 by architect C. F. A. Voysey. The exterior features painted roughcast walls and a green slate roof. The building is one storey with an additional roof storey, showcasing three windows on the ground floor and one in the eaves. The windows are leaded casements, with three lights below (one featuring stone mullions) and four lights in the dormer, topped with a moulded timber cornice. The doorway is located to the right of the centre and is sheltered by a projecting moulded porch hood, with the original door still in place. The cottage has a low hipped roof, overhanging eaves supported by cast iron gutters on brackets, and a prominent central chimney. The side walls are reinforced with buttresses. The interior has not been seen.
