Description
Vine Cottages is a house dating from the early 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of brown bricks with red dressings and features an old tile roof with two parallel ridges behind a parapet. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a one-bay extension to the right. The windows have red gauged flat arches and are mostly sashed, with a 20th-century metal window on the first floor to the right. There is a wooden porch with an open pediment supported by Doric columns. The ground floor windows have later architrave surrounds, and the right side of the ground floor features later 20th-century floor-to-ceiling glazing. The first-floor windows have fretted blind boxes. The cottage is set back from the road and has modern shops on the boundary of its front garden.
