Description

Elm House, also known as Lupton House, is an early 19th-century house of three storeys and a basement. It is constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. The front façade originally had five windows, and retains a stone cornice with a blocking course beneath the attic storey. The windows are recessed and feature glazing bars, set within stucco architraves. An arched entrance is framed by rusticated stucco, with enriched bands at the springing and cornice above, terminating in a mask keystone. Some decorative features exist within the entrance hall. Bow windows have been added to the rear elevation.
