Description

Aragon House is a house built in 1805-6, with later alterations. It is constructed of brown brick and stands four storeys high with a basement. The main block is three windows wide, with two-storey wings of two windows each added to the right and a single-window wing to the left.

The main block features a central entrance with a round head, a patterned fanlight, and two panelled doors. Ground-floor windows have segmental heads set within segmental recesses. Other windows are square-headed, with sash windows having glazing bars on the ground floor and casement windows above. All windows have gauged brick heads. Cast iron balconies are present on the ground and first floors. A parapet tops the building.

The wings feature segmental-headed ground-floor windows, also set in segmental recesses, with margin glazing.
