Description

A terrace of houses built around 1795, located on New King’s Road. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with slate roofs. They are three storeys high and approximately three windows wide, with blind windows on the centre of the first and second floors of each house. A central, round-headed entrance features an arched fanlight above the door. Original panelled doors remain. Numbers 239 and 245 have timber porches. The sash windows have near-flush frames, and some retain their original glazing bars. The buildings are topped with parapets. Group value is present due to their contribution to the streetscape.
