Description
This is a house located at 6 Lower Mall, dating from the late 18th century and altered over time. It is constructed of brown brick and stands three storeys high, featuring three windows, with a right-hand extension that has one additional window and is two storeys tall with a dormer. An iron veranda spans the first floor, topped with a tented roof. The entrance has a wooden doorcase with an architrave, a fluted frieze, and brackets supporting a dentil cornice. The extension includes a wooden bow on the first floor, supported by columns with foliated capitals. Most windows are sash types and still have their glazing bars. The parapet has been rebuilt on both sections of the building. This house is part of a group with numbers 7 to 12 Lower Mall.
