Description
Number 9 Bute Gardens is a symmetrical detached house built in the second quarter of the 19th century. It has two storeys and three bays, with a stucco facade beneath a hipped slate roof. The ground floor features casement windows with stucco architraves and segmental heads, set within shallow segmentally headed recesses. The first floor has double-hung sash windows, also with stucco architraves and bracketed cills, and includes margin glazing. The central entrance porch projects and is supported by Doric pilasters, featuring a partially glazed panelled door, an entablature, and a blocking course. There is a small single-storey wing on the right. This building is listed as part of a group with Nos 5, 7, and 11.
