Description

No. 38 Newington Green is a three-storey, three-window house built in the early 19th century, which may contain some older elements inside. The building is constructed of stock brick and features a stone-coped parapet. It has gauged flat brick arches above sash windows that include glazing bars set in stucco-lined reveals. The ground floor has projecting shops that date from the late 19th century. This property is part of a group with Nos. 35 to 39, along with Nos. 35A and 36A, which collectively form a group with the forecourt wall of the Unitarian Chapel.
