Description
Nos 79 and 81 on Broadway Market, built in the early to mid-19th century, are two-storey buildings featuring two windows each. No 79 is rendered, while No 81 is constructed of painted brick. Both buildings have stone-coped parapets with sunk panels. No 79 has replaced its first-floor sash windows, whereas No 81 retains its original sashes with glazing bars and includes a clock face at the first-floor level. On the ground floor, there are two shop fronts that date from the late 19th or early 20th century. These buildings are included for their group value, as they are part of a cohesive group with Nos 75 to 81 (odd).
