Description

The archway leading to St Thomas's Recreation Ground is a tall round arch featuring a moulded impost string, cornice, and a pediment above. It is constructed of stucco with incised lines and has an early 19th-century appearance. This archway may have originally served as a carriage entrance to St Thomas's Square.
