Description

  1. DAUBENY ROAD E5 5013 (West Side) --------------- Daubeny Junior School TQ 3685 21/76 II GV

  2. 1884 London Board School dated on plaque on south end. Long 2-storey building with 17 bays, alternate ones under gables. End gables of cross-wings much wider. Stock brick with red brick dressings and stone gable copings. High pitched tiled roof with symmetrical row of brick chimneys. 1st floor string. Windows in inner gabled sections in segmental arched recesses framed by brick pilasters resting on string. In gable ends a tall central window, under segmental relieving arch with stone key, and narrower side windows. All sash windows with glazing bars, and transom with pivoted upper light. Gauged brick ground floor window arches.

Daubeney Junior and Infant's Schools form a group with the forecourt railings to the Junior School
