Description
Aggra Bank Buildings, located at 6 to 8 Clements Lane, is a mid to late 19th-century stone building that stands three storeys tall with an attic. The ground floor features a grey granite plinth and tall, narrow windows with stilted segmental heads and console keystones. The entrance includes a round-headed doorway adorned with Renaissance motifs, such as panelled pilasters decorated with flowers and vases. The first and second floors are connected by giant pilasters. The first-floor windows have flat surrounds with unmoulded triangular pediments, while the second-floor windows are round-headed. The building is topped with a bracketed cornice and a parapet featuring vases, along with a recessed attic.
