Description

The Royal Bank of Scotland, located on Nicholas Lane, is a mid to late 19th-century building featuring a long, classical façade made of Portland stone. It has three main stories above a basement. The ground floor is rusticated and includes segmentally arched windows with mask keystones. There are two entrances, one of which has been altered. The first-floor windows are paired and corniced, flanked by columns of polished pink granite. At the top, there is a small crowning cornice and stone dormers.
