Description
No. 46 Bishopsgate is a building from the mid-18th century that was refronted in the early 19th century. It has four storeys and a recessed garret, with a slate roof and yellow stock brick construction. The modern shopfront features two windows, and the recessed sash windows have gauged flat red brick arches, stucco reveals, and sills. There is a stucco band at the first floor level and a stucco cornice at the third floor level. Some original interior features remain, including a panelled landing on the first floor and a panelled front room on the second floor.
