Description
The monument to Edward Blore, who died in 1879, is located in Highgate (Western) Cemetery. It features a sarcophagus made of Portland stone, which includes a base, angle colonnettes, and a gabled cover adorned with a relief of a cross crafted from pink granite. The monument is signed by Forsyth, Baker Street. Edward Blore was a notable architect and antiquarian known for completing Buckingham Palace and restoring Hampton Court and Windsor Castle.
