Description
The lodge at the east entrance to Highgate (Western) Cemetery, built around 1838-39 by Stephen Geary, serves as a cemetery office. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with stone dressings and is designed in the Tudor Gothick style. The building features an irregular composition, panelled doors, lancet windows, and octagonal buttresses. A coved stone cornice with dog tooth decoration adds to its architectural detail. The interior has not been inspected.
