Description
11, 11A, 12 and 13 Colville Place are four terraced houses with later shops, built around 1766 by John Colville and altered over time. They are constructed from multi-coloured stock brick and rise to three storeys with cellars, while No. 13 features attic dormers. Each house has two windows. The early 19th-century wooden former shopfronts have pilasters that support an entablature and include small panes. The doorways for both the shops and houses have fanlights, with No. 13 showcasing a patterned fanlight and panelled doors. The recessed sash windows have gauged red brick flat arches and original glazing bars, except for No. 12 and the second floor of No. 11. The buildings also have parapets. The interiors have not been inspected.
