Description

Millfield Cottage is a detached house, likely originating as a barn in the 17th century and converted into a house in the early 18th century, with significant extensions and alterations since. The walls are red brick, with the first floor painted. It has a tiled pitched roof with dormers added in the late 20th century. The front has four windows, which have been altered. A 20th-century entrance portico is situated at the south end. The interior has not been inspected. It is believed the cottage was originally converted to house a worker for the Hampstead Waterworks Company.
