Description

This is a terrace of eleven houses, numbers 62 to 82, and a flat above the vehicle entrance between number 68 and 70, built in the early to mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick with channelled stucco to the ground floors. A continuous stucco cornice runs along the tops of the houses. Some have slated mansard roofs with dormers. The houses are three storeys high, with attics and basements, and generally have two windows each. The doorways feature stucco pilasters supporting an entablature, with pilaster-jambs carrying cornice heads, overlights and panelled doors. The recessed sash windows have gauged brick arches, while numbers 62 and 78 have stucco window surrounds. Cast-iron balconies are present to the first-floor windows. The interiors have not been inspected. Attached cast-iron railings with acorn finials define the area fronts.
