Description
The Pinfold on the Heath, located approximately 5 metres east of the road and 5 metres north of Whitestone Lane, is a disused structure believed to have been built around 1787. It features a square plan and is constructed of patched brown brick, primarily in Flemish bond. The western side has an opening flanked by brick pillars and is fitted with a 20th-century iron bar gate. On the eastern side, there is a weathered stone plaque set into the wall. Historically, this pinfold was used to hold animals that were found straying on the Heath.
