Description

Verulam Buildings, consisting of numbers 1 to 5, are a group of five terraced chambers built between 1803 and 1811. They are constructed from multi-coloured stock brick and rise four storeys with basements, featuring seven windows each. Numbers 4 and 5 slightly project from the rest of the terrace. The entrances are designed with semicircular arches, key-stones, and impost blocks. The recessed sash windows are topped with gauged red brick flat arches, and the buildings have parapets. The interiors have not been inspected. Additionally, there are attached cast-iron railings with urn finials surrounding the areas in front of the buildings.
