Clopton Hall is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, with a wing added to the west end in the early 19th century. The building has two storeys. The west front features double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and small panes, while the other windows are 20th century casements. The doorway is adorned with pilasters and a cornice. The roof is tiled on the original part and covered with slate on the 19th century wing. Inside, there are areas of exposed timber-framing, along with ceiling beams and joists.
