Rose Cottage and The Thatch is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, featuring a later extension at the north end. The building has one storey and attics, with casement windows and a boarded door. The roof is thatched, except for the north end, which is tiled and dates from the 20th century. The roof includes four gabled dormers.
