Description

Bradfield Loft Farmhouse is a farmhouse from the early 17th century featuring a three-cell lobby-entrance plan. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed with a timber frame that is rendered. The roof is slated and has an axial chimney made of red brick. The building includes various 19th and 20th-century windows, along with a 20th-century panelled entrance door. Inside, the nearly complete timber frame is exposed, showcasing chamfered first floor joists in the hall and parlour. The roof has a clasped-purlin design. Additionally, a one-storey dairy wing was added to the north side in the 19th century.
