Description

Thatch-on-the-Green is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building, designed in an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the north-east and south-east. The roof is thatched and features a central ridge chimney stack with diagonally set shafts on a square base. The building has one storey and attics, with small casement windows that have lattice leaded lights. There are two gabled dormers on the front and two on the north-west side. At the north-west end of the front, there is a small double fronted shop front that projects outward, topped with a slate roof. A six-panel door is located beneath a thatched hood.
