Description

Hope House is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 17th to 18th centuries. It is set on an L-shaped plan, with wings extending to the south-east and south-west. The building is two storeys high, featuring casement windows, some of which are original from the 18th century. The north-west front has a 6-panel door set within a wooden doorcase which includes fluted pilasters, a frieze, and a pediment.
