Description

Oak Farm Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that is one-and-a-half storeys high. It is constructed with a timber frame and rendered exterior, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage features an internal chimney stack with a plain red brick shaft. It has various small-paned casement windows and one eyebrow dormer, along with a plank door. To the left side, there is a long lean-to with a shallow-pitched pantiled roof. The building is positioned sideways to the road and is located within the same grounds as Oak Farmhouse, suggesting it may have originally been a unit house. The interior has not been examined. This cottage is included for its group value with Oak Farmhouse.
