Description
Green Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse with two storeys, designed in a half-H form, where the roof ridge of the central section is lower than those of the wings. The building features a timber frame that is rendered, with slates covering the central range and old plain tiles on the cross-wings. The main range includes an internal chimney stack with a large stepped base and a rebuilt shaft, along with a chimney stack in each cross-wing, all made of red brick. On the ground floor of the central range, there is a 4-light mullion-and-transom type window, while all other windows on both storeys are 3-light casements with a single bar to the lights. The entrance door, located at the east end of the central range, is sheltered by a gabled and latticed porch. The interior has not been examined.
