Description

The Greys is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house that was refronted in the 18th century. The southeast gable features a plaster panel with the date 1769. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front. The northwest end is raised to a higher level and may have originally been a separate dwelling. It has a window range of three to four, featuring casements with leaded lights and 'Gothic' arched heads. The roof is tiled and includes a coved eaves cornice. All the listed buildings in The Green form a group.
