Description

The Grape Vine Restaurant, formerly known as Tudor House, is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered building that was renovated in the 20th century. It features pargetted panels, one of which displays a Tudor rose and a foliated design. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with casement windows that have leaded lattice lights from the 20th century. At the southwest end, there is a three-light canted bay window from the 19th century on the ground floor. The entrance includes a six-panel door set within an 18th-century wood doorcase that has pilasters and a pediment. The roof is tiled. All the listed buildings in The Green form a group.
