Description
Green End is an early 19th-century white brick house that stands two storeys tall. It features a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, all set in painted reveals and topped with stucco hood moulds. The front of the house is accentuated by broad pilasters. A six-panel door is located at the entrance, topped by a small semi-circular fanlight. The roof is tiled and includes a stopped gable at the southeast end, along with two gabled dormers and a paired bracketed eaves soffit. The front of the property is enclosed by early 19th-century iron railings. At the rear, there is an earlier 18th-century red brick house that also stands two storeys and has a tiled roof. Currently, both buildings function as a single tenement. All the listed buildings in The Green are part of a group.
