Limestone balustrading and retaining wall, early C19. 80 yards long, defining north margin of north terrace of Ickworth House. Elliptical plan. Square piers at 10 yard intervals, each bay subdivided into 3 by smaller piers. Closely-set turned balusters at each bay. Octagonal terminal piers with surmounting gadroon-carved urns. Group value with Ickworth House.
