Description
Building 80 is the former duty officer hut at RAF Barnham. It is constructed from a resin-bonded plywood frame arranged in a grid pattern of 4 feet by 3 feet 6 inches, and it is clad in flat asbestos cement sheeting on both sides of the frame, topped with a slightly pitched, timber-framed roof. The building has a rectangular plan.
On the exterior, the windows consist of standard steel single, double, and tri-partite casements. There is a double door at the east end, and to the west, there is a corridor link to building 67.
Internally, the structure remains intact with no introduced partitioning.
