Description

Wimpy Cottage is a 18th-century cottage with one-and-a-half storeys and a two-cell plan. It is timber-framed and rendered, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage features two end chimney stacks: one is original and located within the frame on the east side, while the other is a later addition set externally on the west side. The ground storey has small-paned casement windows and there is one gabled dormer. Inside, the cottage has plain, light framing with exposed primary braces and bisected studs. The building is included for its group value.
