Description

This is a barn located 50 yards west of Denham Hall, dating from the early 17th century. It has four bays and features one aisle on the south side. The barn is timber-framed and weather-boarded, topped with a hipped asbestos roof. It includes jowled arcade-posts and aisle-posts, with bracing extending from the arcade-post head down to the aisle tie-beam. There is some arch-type wall wind-bracing, and the roof is constructed with wind-braced clasped purlins.
