Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a core dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It has an L-shaped form, with the front range rising 2 and a half storeys and the rear at 2 storeys. The structure is timber-framed, with the front range completely encased in red brick, while the rear is rendered. The roof is covered with 20th-century plain tiles, and there is a chimney stack on the rear wall of the main range.
The front features three windows: early 20th-century casements with metal frames, consisting of three lights on the outer windows and two lights on the central window, all having slightly arched heads to their surrounds. In the south gable, there is an 18th-century small-paned sash window. The entrance has a central six-panelled door beneath a large square fanlight. Inside the front range, several main beams of the timber frame are visible, along with one in the rear.
