Description
The entrance gates, railings, and terminal piers located 15 metres north of the Manor House date from the early 19th century. They feature a pair of cast iron pedestrian gates with spearhead standards, and the lower panels are decorated with arcading. The gates are mounted on square cast iron posts that have moulded finials and pierced panels on each side. The spear-head railings flank the gates and rest on a dwarf wall made of rendered brickwork, which is approximately 20 metres long on either side. At each end, there are terminal square piers made of gault brick, topped with moulded and enriched limestone urns.
