It has two storeys and features a two-window range with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars in cased frames on the first storey, while the ground storey has 19th century sashes with single vertical glazing bars. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with raised and fielded panels, set within a doorcase that has narrow pilasters and a cornice. The roof is slate and hipped. Galloway House is part of a group that includes No 15 (The Vicarage), the wall to the Vicarage, Nos 17 to 22 (consecutive), No 23 (Church Farmhouse), No 26, and The Parish Church of SS Peter and Paul.
