Description

Mill House is an early to mid 19th century white brick house located on Mill Road in Clare. The building is two storeys high and features a three-window range on each front, with double-hung sashes that have glazing bars set in plain reveals. The south front is distinguished by end pilasters, and the central part of one window range slightly projects forward. On the ground floor, there is a tall central three-light bay window. The entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a semi-circular fanlight, situated within an open porch that has a semi-circular arch with a keystone and a cornice. A raised brick band runs between the two storeys, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate.
